Who can access the Directory?
The Directory can be accessed by those persons whose information is included in the Directory. A username and password is required for access.
How do I get a username and password?
If your information is included in the Directory but you have not yet registered, you can request a link from the office of the Finnish Union of University Professors (professoriliitto@professoriliitto.fi) that will enable you to register. In connection with your registration, you will create your own username and password that can be used in the future to access the Directory or supplement your information therein.
What do I do if I have forgotten my username?
Please request a link from the office of the Finnish Union of University Professors (professoriliitto@professoriliitto.fi) that will enable you to retrieve your username. The link will allow you to access and update your information. Both the username you created and your email address can be used as the login username.
What do I do if I have forgotten my password?
The login page of the Directory has a ‘Forgot your password?’ link. The link will open a field that allows you to enter your Directory username or your email address. We will send instructions on how to set a new password to the email address tied to your username.
I am a new professor. How can I get my information included in the Directory?
If you would like to become a member of the Finnish Union of University Professors, please fill out a membership application form https://www.professoriliitto.fi/en/membership/join-the-union/. Within a few days of completing and submitting the application, you will receive a link that enables you to register for the Directory. In connection with your registration, you will create your own username and password that can be used in the future to access the Directory or supplement your information. Your personal information and professorship position will have already been added to the Directory.
If you do not wish to join the Finnish Union of University Professors, but you would still like to be included in the Directory, please contact the office of the Union (professoriliitto@professoriliitto.fi). You will receive a link by email that will enable you to register for the Directory. In connection with your registration, you will create your own username and password that can be used in the future to access the Directory and update your information. Only your name will have been added to the Directory.
